Our team is growing! Slakey has an exciting opportunity for an Operations Generalist to join our Operations Team based out of our Distribution Center in Elk Grove, CA!

Schedule - Monday-Friday (this position requires travel and the ability to work varying schedules to include some weekend work at times)
Full Time - Starting pay range $22-$28 per hour

Summary

Work directly with the Logistics Manager in all aspects of warehousing, distribution, and deliveries.
Be the first option to assist nearby locations when help is requested.
Assist the operations team in monitoring SOP understanding and compliance at the branch level, uncovering inefficiencies, and devising appropriate training, as well as, proactively seek out improvements, innovations, and new techniques to raise our customer service level.
Assist the operations team in working closely with front line Team Members to develop standard operating procedures and establish benchmarks and performance measurements that are universally applicable to all locations.
When branch and operations assistance are not required, the Team Member will continue to assist at their home branch.

Skills and Qualifications

Good working knowledge of warehouse operations
Good computer skills including Word, Excel, and Power Point
Customer service oriented, respond to requests with the proper sense of urgency
Good communication skills, written and verbal, experience writing policies and procedures
Open-minded and creative problem solver
Experienced in the Total Quality Management process
Team-oriented individual who works well in a group setting
This position requires travel and the ability to work varying schedules
